Rockfon Mineral Wool Ceiling Panels

Clean lines and smooth textures are trending in interior design right now. One of the newest styles to hit our showroom is the RockFon line of products. Created by Roxul, RockFon ceilings combine modern textures with practical acoustics.

RockFon uses acoustic stone wool to create their products. This is beneficial for many reasons:

• the ceiling tiles are lighter than their standard mineral wool counterparts
• sound absorption can be as high as 90%
• they contain up to 42% recycled content
• stone wool is water repellent

One of the best attributes that the RockFon ceiling tiles has is the cost. A typical basement or commercial office could install these tiles for what normally would cost almost twice as much for the same look.

Ceiling Centre stocks the Rockfon in two profiles: square lay-in and square tegular. For a more elegant finished product the regular style is preferred. This profile drops the face of the ceiling tile below the suspension system which creates depth and takes the focus off the metal components.
